I just bought a new Logitech MX518 'Gaming Grade Optical Mouse'. This puppy has on the fly sensitivity switching from 400 dpi to a maximum of 1600 dpi. While it is a corded mouse, with a PS/2 to USB interface (utilizing a PS/2-USB Adapter), it also has a bit of software to install, which allows more indepth customization of mouse settings/sensitivity and game profiling (for on the fly sensitivity IN GAME).
This mouse is MUCH better than my old one....an HP Optical USB Mouse.....the response time in game sucks compared to the Logitech MX518. My score in Counter Strike: Source has improved five fold.....and my accuracy has increased with each day I use it (and learn to use the mouse better).
If you need a new mouse, I reccomend that you give this a try. I bought mine at a local GAMESTOP for $40.00 USD.
