So, yesterday was officially my nieces first birthday. I know that most of you probably don't care, but I know alot of you have children/nieces/nephews. I have only one niece and four nephews (my older brothers have all boys, and my youngest sister has her daughter), but since I am still a "newly appointed" Uncle, and because it really sounds weird to hear "Go see Uncle Adrian" or anything else said that attaches the title of Uncle to my name.

My point of this blurb is to show you guys this cool, kick ass cake my little sister made for her daughter's first birthday. Oh, and to show you how cute she is as well!

Wow, nice cake. Totally wasted on a one year old though. Was there 2 cakes? The one she's getting stuck into looks nothing like the big, fancy one.

Could you eat the towers? If the towers were edible your sister gets a bonus point.

And the pic in the middle really needs a caption like one of those lolcat things. Maybe "need cake" or "cake me!" followed by "om nom nom nom!".

And yes, I have had too much caffeine.

Omg WOW! Like Phil i am also intrigued to know if the entire cake was edible, if so HOW but also how did it all stay 'standing up'!

I am glad to see you all think that cake rocks. As for the towers and the tower's turrets, no they were not edible (but they were made by hand). Too bad, because then that would have made this cake HELLA cool!!

I don't know why there is also a chocolate cake.... I forgot to ask. Great....now I have to call her and ask.
